p-pump rating?
Can you tell what the p-pump is rated at by the 10 digit number? It's on my 96 12v

It can be figured out by the last 3 digits , somewhere on dodgeram.org there is a reference table , but I looked for it the other day and cannot find it.

Is it the origional pump?

yes it is original pump-there is a 10# cast into the housing last three are 158. Do you know what the limitations of the different stock models?

look at the tag behind the linkage, the plate need to be removed. it is 3 10mm bolts if i remember right.

Well , If your truck is auto , it is 180 HP , if it is manual , it is a 215HP pump.
