operatng range for auto trans temp sensor

I did the nv4500 swap on my 97.

I have read that the cruise will not work on an auto truck until the trans temp reaches 70 degrees.

Right now I have my auto trans temp sensor plugged in, but its only 45 degrees or so out so my cruise will not work.

I am trying to figure out what I type/size resistor I can put in place of the sensor so that the cruise will work.

A 1000 ohm resistor will trick the PCM into thinking the ATF is at 100°
