JUST WONDERIN WHAT YOU GUYS USE FOR OIL? sorry, didnt mean to yell. :-[ and what fuel aditive you use and how offen?

 

Shell Rotella 5-40 synthetic oil twice a year or at 15k miles. Shell Rotella DFA (diesel fuel additive), about a pint at every fill-up. Buy them both at Walmart for best price. Don't use Fram filters, they void the Dodge warranty and could damage your engine. Get Purolator at Pep Boys or Fleetguard at a Cummins dealer.

 

I use regular 15w40 rotella w/ a couple bottles of Lucas oil additive, & I only use fuel additive in the winter months, no specific brand, just something to keep her from gelling, hope this helps, Dusty

 

Amalgamated, Amsoil Cetane Boost, Howes

 

AMSOIL 15 W 40 marine diesel oil with 25000 mile changes, Power Service fuel additive nearly every tank.

 

I use Rotella 15-40 for oil. And Howes,Rotella DFA,or power service. -Anthony

 

Delo 400 here. It has a little better cold weather &quot;pour&quot;, that rotella. You can't go wrong either way.<br>I use fuel additive at every fill up, gives me peace of mind.<br>Use Power Service, Rotella DFA, Howes Meaner Cleaner or Lucas.

 

Valvoline Premium Blue 2000 which is being discontinued. Stocked up from my favorite NAPA dealer so I'm set for the next few changes anyway.<br> Ran Power service additive the first year I owned the truck and saw no difference. I don't bother with an additive now.<br><br>Bill

 

Kendall 15w-40 all year 10000 mile oil changes and I take oil samples...Fleetguard filters...never run any fuel additive only carry a bottle of anti-gel for really cold weather

 

I use Amsoil Marine 15W40 full synthetic, with changes every 6000 miles and oil analysis at each change. I use Stanadyne Preformance Formula in my #2. About twice a year I use an injector cleaner. I've got 157,000 miles on her and the last analysis is as good as the first.<br><br>Bob ;D

 

Esso XD3 15W40 in the summer, 0W40 in the mid winter. I also use Lubtech fuel additive, both the conditioner and the performance enhancer.<br><br>J-eh

 

Summer I use Rotella 15-40, winter 5-40 for oil. In Canada in the winter I use full syn 0-30 oil. But when I cant get Redline for the fuel I use Rotella DFA . <br> <br> Robert<br><br> <br>
