I have in my stock a filter from my 93, a Fleetguard LF3349.
In the dodgeram website it mentions an LF 3959 that supersedes the filter I have for all model years.
Can I use this filter or not?? I can't see alot of difference in the 12V engines with respect to oil filters or am I just being short sighted?

The guys at Cummins told me the LF 3959 case was beefed up because of very high oil pressures on start up on 24 valve engines that split filters and that the LF3349 was just fine for 12 valves.
