Oil coming from dipstick

I just noticed tonight, after a few full throttle runs, before it lost fuel, I got back to the house and smelled oil. I popped the hood and found that a good amount of oil had come out of the dipstick tube. I've heard things about using a manometer to see what condition your engine is in, but what does oil coming from the dipstick mean? Rebuild? It has 195,000 on it.

I didn't think about this before, but when I was working on the LP I accidentally pulled the vacuum line for the brakes out. When I went for the test drive, I didn't hook the line back up and had no power brakes. I think this is the cause of oil blowing out of the dipstick, since the vacuum pump is a compressor into the crankcase, when it has a leak, and it had a leak. (A big one...lol) I should think before I post! LOL

Might also want to check that the o-ring under the dipstick handle is in good shape. When they wear out it causes a loose fit that can allow the dipstick to blow out.
