I have a 97 that sometimes won't pop off like it usually does. It turns over great just doesn't fire, so I keep trying 3 or 4 times and then it takes off. It happens 1 out 5 times I start it. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

 

If is related to how long it's been parked you probably have a fuel supply system air leak.
They can suck air without leaking fuel so just looking doesn't usually work.

The first thing I would check is to make sure the fuel solenoid lever is being pulled up when it won't start. They get grimy after some time, and will act erratically.
