Does anyone know if an NV4500 5spd out of a GM will work in my truck? I can get one for free. Any help would be great since I started to assemble some parts for the conversion. Also if anyone is looking for a good stock 47RE let me know.

 

IIRC the input and output shafts are different spline. I know for sure the output is different. Also i believe they are different internally because if you look up rebuild kits they list as different part numbers.

 

Where can you look up the rebuild kits or where can I find out if they are different?
