NV4500 going south
I have a friend who just purchased a 95' 2-wheel drive with the NV4500...however,his syncro's and clutch don't seem to be in the best of shape. Does anyone know where he can get either a new one or good rebuild one for cheap? Or,someone in the San Jose/Morgan Hill california area that can help him...e-mail him at sjw4dreamz@aol.com or me at Cummnzpowr@aol.com Thanks Guys....Greg

Standard Transmission & Gear LLC.
1-800-783-8726
Get the fully splined main shaft, I think it is standard in their rebuilds. You can even ship yours there for a rebuild and usually save some money that way.
Got a rebuild kit for my dying 4500 couple years ago from Standard transmission & Gear.(www.standardtransmission.com, if I recall).
Best price and good service. Also got parts to rebuild my Dana80 LSD - hard to find elsewhere. Good luck on the 4500. Mine's ready for another set of bearings & shims, again...
-Scott
