my 3-4 gear synco went out and the tranny man not to up on parts for these what brand should i get and where to get them . id like to have some rell good kit to replace all of them he said evrthing else looks good . the truck is puting down right now about 400 rwhp and 1100 rwtq and its a 2000 model chevy nv4500 , what i can tell it the same as the dodge one in 96 up . i found some parts but i all confusses me what i need .

Make sure to use the correct fluid. The wrong fluid eats the syncros like acid.
That may be what caused them to fail.

 

my tranny has it tore down and said evrthing looks pefect exept 3-4 gear syncros were plum shot and 1-2 syncros had alot of wear . he said that is all he needed ?

thanks for the info , i used gm synthetic mt lube 18$ a quart .

 

Could be a previous owner used the wrong fluid.
Worn syncros is a very common problem with the wrong fluid. In fact it's guaranteed.
