Question No Power

I was towing a small utility trailer yesterday and i tried to pass another car and i could not get past 70mph.No hills, good temp.
The truck seems to be running fine. Its a good thing i did not have our camper going to the mountains.Any ideas or suggestions.
Thanks guys

Your sig says you have a 24 valve but this is 12 valve forum.
If you are speaking of a 12 what was your rpm? Most stock 12s will fall flat on the their face when 2500 rpm is exceeded.

Could be a blown intercooler boot. (Lots of "rushing wind noise")
Bad MAP sensor, Bad APPS/TPS, Bad injection pump (VP44).

Check Engine light on?
How Does it start? (Hard start? Hard Start when Hot?)

Does the throttle ever seem to not respond?

Blue, white, or Gray smoke, or missing at high RPM?

When is the last time the fuel filter was changed? Was it hard to get re-primed or started?

This will help us/me diagnois your problem.

No Power-Starts great

Sorry about the wrong forum. The truck starts up with no problems rpm are at 1800 at 60mph.Has 102,000 miles. The last time a changed the fuel filter i did have a hard time getting it to prime.I could hear it,but just took alot of cranking at the end.I just changed the air filter to a K & N now i can hear the turbo spulling up.at least thats what i think it is.Other then lack of power the truck runs great. Thanks for the help

Check for the exhaust manifold being cracked.

It will crack between cylinders 3 & 4 starting on the bottom side, closer to the motor, working itself around the manifold, until the manifold cracks completely in half.
