when i got my truck the guy said he put a t/c lock up switch in. the switch was working fine, then last night took it out so i could move it to a better location, i put new connectors on it and re-installed it. now i have no over drive. i also removed a relay for some old fog lights, and a ground wire to the relay, but i saw none of those wires going to the t/c lock up switch. if i could find out how you put in a t/c lock up switch in from scratch, i could back track and find out what the prob is. has anyone ever put one of these in?

Most common problem is when people try to run a pilot light off the same switch. It won't work, signal back feeds though the lamp filament.

 

my guess is the ground wire.
