New fuel pump

Hey every one. I’m having my friend do a lot of work on my truck while I am over here in Iraq. I’m putting an afe intake in, super b turbo and DDP stage 2 injectors. But now here’s my question my fuel lines are rotted out and he is going to replace them for me. My truck has 95,000 miles on it. With the new upgrades and the fact that I have the cash now should I replace my fuel pump with a fass system and the upgraded lines??? or do I just replace the fuel lines and call it a day do I really not have to worry about my fuel pump not supplying enough fuel or shitting the bed soon? I’m new to all of this so I have no clue here?

Thank you for your service!!!

Both my trucks are nearing 300k and have only had the lines replaced with hose all the way from engine to tank. My bet is your pump is good for many more miles and see no need for a Fass.

I agree with Bill, but you could install a fuel pressure guage to be sure, even if its temporary for a test drive. Others have said to you should have around 20-25 at idle ans maybe 30 or so at 2k no load, id say test it and if its good remove the gauge and forget it.
