hey guys so i pulled the head on my 96 12v in the process i didnt un plug the water temp sensor so i am ordering a new one off rock auto but my question is wants the difference between the STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # TX71 for $13.09, the FOUR SEASONS Part # 36457 for $20.79 or the STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # TS382 for $46.79

 

The difference would be $6.70 or $33.70 depending on which of the higher priced ones you pick . :^)

 

I haven't had much luck with aftermarket auto parts sensors for these engines lasting very long.
If you only want to replace it once get the sensor from Cummins.
Might cost more but will be cheaper than having to buy two, or three, or...
