Need your guys input for turbo upgrade

I'm in the market for a new turbo. i'm not looking to make huge power i've got the truck where i want it power wise. i'm just looking for something thats a step up from the stock. i want some thing thats gonna be reliable and in the $1500 to $1800 range. O i also plan on putting a pacbrake PRXB and an intercooler upgrade (not sure on this one either) so i want them to all work together as well. i know thats alot but thats why i'm asking the best.

Thanks guys

I would not change the turbo, but would install the 4" turbo outlet kit and the four inch downpipe, and it is like installing a much larger turbo, but for a lot less money.

Then find a motorhome or bus manifold inlet horn and replace the Dodge unit with the much larger motorhome inlet and larger hose from the intercooler to the horn. You just eliminated a huge power waster in the OEM restricted air inlet.

When you are done it will feel like it has a well tuned HX40, but the cost will be a few hundred and your EGT's will drop significantly.

If it were me, I would look into either an upgraded HX35 from PDR or get into the S-300 variants by HTT or II. I have a smaller S300G and its a little tight for what I would like. Stepping up to a 64-14-71 is what I have been contemplating. I think this S300G is a 62-12-65(?) not sure, but the exhaust side is too small. HOT!

Make sure you get an inline exhaust brake rather than one that replaces the turbo elbow.
With the elbow type you are severely limited if you ever want to switch turbos.
Most e-brake manufacturers offer an inline for about the same price.

The S300G is a 57mm compressor wheel.
