missing and white smoke

i have a 210hp 1998 5.9l and it will miss and puff alittle white smoke at 1500 rpm and when it gets to where it should start to defuel for the governor it starts missing and pouring white smoke. i really need to get it fixed but cant figure it out. it has new injectors but the problem was there before i put new injectors. could it have something to do with the govornor on the p pump.

Sounds like your timing has slipped.

I agree with timing. Mine does the same, and I need to check it, and advance a bit while I'm in there.

If there's no air in the fuel or plugged filters, then I agree with timing. A bad batch of fuel plugged all my filters and I had the same symptoms. Looked like a White Snake out my exhaust
