In need of a mech/shop in central Va, I am in the Charlottesville area, talked to some local mechanics, every lead I check on leads to nothing. Have a bad oil leak on the side cover, so the injector pump needs to be removed, and would like to adjust the timing (since its going to be off), also would like to get the KDP checked. Even the local dealer has to borrow the tools to mess with the injector pump. Just got this truck, has low power issues like many seem to have when 1st bought (from reading), but would like to start with the leak, and go from there.

 

Ok, how about a shop anywhere in VA, that will check the timing, checked a few leads today, no luck... Was even told that the pump had to be sent out to time it....

 

Commonwealth diesel injection service (Good quality shop!! ) off rt1 and Atlantic Cummins off Bells rd/I-95 just a few min south of richmond? Thats all i know of around here
