Popping is the timing

I had the same issue pulled the injectors had them cleaned and popped with no change would still pop and miss some times back fire did a red neck timing bump truck runs way better and the popping and miss disappeared completely. I will warn you though be care full with it I was told 1/8" on dampner is about 2 degrees advance if you can find some with tool and experience do it but I'm sure it will go away by advancing the timing. Don't put the water to it heavy or I would suggest not even put it on until you stud the head it is not to hard or expensive and is better to do it before she blows. I love my marines but was almost ready to give up on then until I bumped the timing will be checking it when my friend with tools gets back from fort mac.
