My experience indicates that the odds are not very good for the KDP to stay in its intended location. I've tabbed 4 trucks. On 3 of the 4 there was some pin movement that ranged from from 1/16" to 3/8". Doing another truck this weekend. If anybody needs a KDP tab they are availible at Piers Diesel Research

Are there any shops that repair the KDP? I don't have the time to take apart my truck to fix it. Nor do I want to risk getting in over my head (which is almost certain to happen) <br><br>And I didn't buy my truck new, so I don't know if it has already been fixed or not.

Just don't take it to the dealer. Their "hose head" repairs may be more problems than the KDP dropping out.
