KDP fixing soon

Well i was wondering how long it usually takes to fix the KDP.Or even get to it. I am just going to fix it the way cummins recommends for now the later come back and tab it or use a jig. I just hope I hae enough time to do it in. Seem I don't even have time to sit down for a minute. But it has really been on my mind for a while and i need to fix that. It has about 243K on the truck now and would have for anthing to happen to it after i just bought the truck a few months ago. Thanks -Anthony

Re:KDP fixing soon

The easiest/quickest method is using the KDP jig fix (2 hours or less). Factor in the condition of front main seal. If it is leaking, the tab job or Cummins method would be the best method to use. Both methods will require replacing the seal which it would need anyway.

Jerry

Re:KDP fixing soon

IMHO - Tab the pin if you're going in - by far the safest.
