Injectors

Looking for facts and knowledge to help me decide what injectors to go with in my '97 12 valve. Don't want to spend top dollar.

I'll have some 80hp injectors out of my truck soon. Sure, they may not be 12v sticks, but we made that turbo and exhaust fit, right?

Tate,
If I come across some good info on injectors, I'll let you know. After all, you do have a '94 in your garage right? Later.

Check out Newera diesel they have the cheaper marine injecters but they have the correct spray patterns for out tucks. They make different sizes depending on how much hp your looking for. DDP also makes good injecters but they are more $$$.

I got used DDP's for my rig and they are a great injector. I did alot of research as you are doing and at the time they came out on top. New Era and F1 were not available at the time.

What's the difference between New Era and DDP other than price?

Ratsun had a set of Hot Rod 370's from F1 for sale, around $700 if I recall. They'd be a big injector, but should be a good set. I'll check the finances after Christmas/work, might have enough for those and a set of twins . . .

I ordered some stage twos for my 1994 the other day and paid $218 for the set from Pensacola diesel. haven't got them yet but the company says its what they install in these trucks and there's no core charge. supposedly the company buys these injectors by the thousand and gets them for cheap so te hey sell them cheap. ill let u know how they work when I get my rig up and running.

4 Hole injectors are typically pretty smoky... Not as precise a spray pattern. The DDPs I have were 5 hole IIRC..
