If I bought a new alternator, would it come with a new voltage regulator?

If you have been following my postings since August you know my problem...
Can anyone answer this?

The voltage regulator is not part of the alternator , it's built into the PCM . If it goes bad you can install an external voltage regulator , do a search on Regulator . I just went thru a similar problem with the lights pulsing , turned out to be a bad alternator . Check thread , Strange Charging . It could be alternator , regulator , wiring , or light switch , try isolating one at a time . Good luck
The charging problems are almost a 100% out side the PCM , haven't seen one fail yet , not that it can not happen , but if you ever let someone els work on your truck or sell it , leave it the way it is , cost to mod , when thats not the problem , how can somebody els fix if they do not know whats up .
And them theres that , if the problem was elswhere , and you put in the reg, its still not going to charges .
Moding is for getting more , not getting the same .

Now the lights and door open buzzer fluctuate when the truck is parked, running.
And the voltage gauge goes along with them, never falling below 14...
Alternator brushes?
What would make you guys think its the PCM?
