Idler Pulley for '95
Some years back I bought just the idler pulley for my '95 truck and installed it. It's time to replace it again, and I can't seem to find the place I ordered the first one from. Anyone know of a good place?

I love Rock Auto, their price on the pulley assy runs between 14 bucks and 26 bucks depending on what brand you want to order.

I know you already bought it, but Oreilly's has the best parts for the price. OEM and parts similar to Napa but at a large savings. I have bought from auto zone or advance and some parts don't last but haven't had an issue at Oreilly. Just for future reference.

I used to think that too, but then I bought a "LIFETIME" starter from O'Reilly's for my truck. It lasted a year before it puked out, and O'Reilly's didn't want to replace it when it did die. I finally did get them to replace it, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a Nippo Denso starter for it. The manager at the local O'Reilly said the Cummins is so hard to start no starter will last long, but my Nippo Denso sure did. My original N.D. starter lasted 10 years. I've got a "lifetime" O'Reilly alternator in my truck too, but I had my original N.D. alternator, which lasted 280,000 miles, rebuilt with the best bearings I could find. When the O'R alternator pukes out, I'll replace it with the original N.D.

Here is where I get starters and other electrical parts. Larry B stands behind all parts he sells and they are Nippon Denso.

Forgot. Get the isolation diode also. Keeps a hung up starter from burning up the fuel solenoid if the contacts stick. Inexpensive, easy to install and well worth the time.
