idle

Hello I was wondering why idle is at about 400-500 and sometimes stalls when plowering or quick stop, can I adjust the low idle and if I can where is it located.Remember I am no gear head so I am still learning about diesels.

The idle adjustment just adjusts the minimum position for the fuel arm. It is a bolt with a nut on it that locks it. Once you see it it will make sense.

just an fyi, ive you have done any govenor spring changes, messing with the idle stop nut on the back will only increase your aggrivation.
Im told slipped timing will also effect idle.
