Cool I could be wrong but........

I had my wastegate plugged off and it was building to much boost for the poor stock charger. (40-43 PSI) So, i hooked it back up today and i could be wrong but... It seems to run ALOT better, the exhaust up top sounds like it got louder, and its not making a high pitch noise up top anymore..

This all possible with just hookin up the watsegate?

i dunno how much fuel ur pumping into your motor but i think you'd be better off getting an adjustable boost elbow...of ur hitting 40psi or more ur either making some awesome power or overboosting....since enabled the wastegate again does the truck smoke black? if yes then u need more boost

Entirely possible, and probable - at those pressures, your IATs may be too high for the charge-air cooler to handle.

The lower pressures are resulting in cooler denser air, where the hi-pressures were resulting in hot air - takes more of it to do same work, not even good for power.

yeah - i corrected it - so call me sticks and stones, and throw names!
