I'm upgrading my hx35. Already picked up a hx35 from a friend with a 16cm exhaust housing. Now I ordered the compressor wheel upgrade and housing. Anyone ever install the upgrade on an hx35. What do I need to watch for when doing the upgrade. I heard it can be a pain getting the compressor wheel off. Looking for directions or usefull tips. Thanks

 

I have heard many say you can do the swap w/o balanceing the whole unit but I never had any luck with that. I woul spen the money and balance it. It will spool better and hold together at higher boost. if you decide not to make wure you mark the nut and shaft and get them alinged as best as posible because it is balanced at the factory. other than that I don't have any tips I can think of anyway.
