How much are ball joints for a 97?

How much are ball joints for a 97?
I've seen prices reported on here as high as $1500!
Its a D60, and what makes it different than a 360 D60 gasser?
Sorry for the dumb question...
But I went through 2 sets on my lifted gasser and don't remember them being higher than $300 a side.. or less...

I just checked on these 2 weeks ago as my 97 needs them as well. At NAPA, the uppers were $25 each and lowers were $35 each. thats parts only. You can rent the tool to remove old and install new at Autozone for FREE!

now that's more like what I'm used to seeing for ball joints...
when I saw the $1,500 installed and $125 per joint???
