i have a strange high pitch and rapid tapping sound coming from somewhere near the drivers side of the engine. seems to happen only at higher revs but doesn't happen always. any ideas? i would guess it was the lp but i just put a new one in maybe 2000mi ago and this noise just started.

 

Try replacing the overflow valve.
