high mileage engine buildup buildup??
i am looking at building a pulling truck and want to find a platform that is in still good condition.
my question is would i still have something reliabe if i took a truck that had say 2XX,XXX untuned miles on it and added modifications to the poing where im pushing say 500-600 hp??

That is hard to say because every engine is different. The more miles the more the parts become fatigued and are more prone to break. My truck has 211,000 miles on it and I am going to shoot for 500hp. Making that much power puts a lot more strain on parts and if those parts are really fatigued then they are more than likely going to break.
Hope this helps some
