Help! Need a piece of wire harness

My headgasket sprung a little leak so I pulled the head and in doing so missed unplugging the coolant temp sensor at the rear of the engine. Needless to say it pulled the wire out of it and I can't repair it. Checked all the wreckers in our area with no luck and Chrysler does not show that part in their inventory. Does anybody happen to have some spare wire harness around that would have that short single wire plug that they would be willing to part with????. My only other option is to make something else up. Thanks. If there is a next time I will know better

That's an easy wire to miss. I did that same thing once, too. That's not a common connector, though, and you'll have trouble finding one. I don't remember what the actual pin in the sender looks like, but you might be able to match up a terminal that will fit the pin. Then you can crimp or solder the terminal to the wire, and just forget about having the plastic plug body. Fill the cavity around the connection with dielectric grease.

I know it's not the perfect repair, but as a last resort, it'll work.

AS John (Faughn) stated you might find it in a NAPA catalog. Sensor wires tend to be universal types.
Chassis wiring is Yazaki with proprietary connectors and I have not found a supplier that handles them.
