Anybody know the part # for these, both of mine are fried.

 

Sorry no p/n....but I sweem to remember a post by Infidel that said you can use a common Ford relay. Does anyone recall that ??

 

You can go to any parts store and get a ford starter solenoid relay. These are very common and have the capacity to handle the load.

 

Dealer wants something like $60 each for the relays, any autoparts will have a Ford starter relay in stock for $10 or less.
Ford used the same relay from the '50s till '90s, very common.

 

You may need to get a relay that is not grounded through the body. I tried the ford setup with my rig and they would either be on all the time or not at all because they are ground switched by the ecm. The control wire has 12v on it all the time and the 'puter just activates the ground circuit to turn on the relays.
