Hair pulling update!
Hair pulling update!
I started with cracking the feed line to the lift pump and turned it over and I get fuel so while turning it over I tightened it and moved over to the other side of the engine and cracked open(loosened nut till I could lift it up??) the injectors and cranked it over and get no fuel. the code that flashes is 1-2-5-5. Does this mean the injector pump is bad? The solenoid was replaced with a new updated version a month ago. Any more ideas guys?
Check the relay on the firewall that connects to the solonoid. They do go bad. If there is no power at that point follow the blue wire back to the battery and make sure that it isnt corroded. Common problem.
Back up
First thing you need to check is the solenoid valve.
You should be able to see it pop up if you have someone else turn the engine over. Or, you can turn it over, disengage the starter and feel if the valve is being held open.
Their are two parts to the coil one that causes the valve to snap open and another that keeps it open. The blue wire on your battery goes to the part that snaps it open.
If the valve is not snapping open then you will not get fuel to the injectors.
If the valve is working is the linkage attached?
If the valve is working and the linkage is attached are you getting fuel from the banjo nut going into the injection pump?
I have changed my fuel filter dozens of times and never had to crack the injection lines to purge air.
I recently changed all my fuel lines (and filter) and was forced to open a couple of injection lines to get the thing running. I think my lift pump is not all there.
Are you parked on flat ground? A while back (before I changed all my hoses) my truck wouldn't start and I jacked the rear end up high (after trying everything else) and it started.
I still think the issue is with my pump.
Anyhow, first check your solenoid.

I checked the solenoid and it seems to be workin and now that i tightened the nuts on the injectors to hand tight they all shot fuel out when u crank it over but will not start. It's some what on a side slope so that the drivers side is slightly and very slightly lower than passenger side.
It should start!
If you are getting fuel out of the injector lines, tighten them all the way and start that *****.
It should start unless your air filter is absolutely completely plugged or your pump timing is way way off.
You might leave one or two injector lines a little loose until you get it started or it starts to fire.
Is it really cold where you live?
