Greasing hubs/bearings on a 4x4
Several years ago I saw a post from a fellow who had drilled his hubs and installed grease fittings, and had many thousands of miles of extra wear out of them(600k+?). I was wondering if someone else could post a link to the thread, I can't find it after having searched quite a bit.
I'm replacing rotors on my truck, would like to go ahead and tap the new hubs and install zerks at the same time. I can't recall if the guy had drilled the knuckles and was able to grease the hubs from around the U-joint, or had to remove the hub to access the grease fitting.
Truck is a '95 4x4, RW ABS.
