bad or warn turbo, blown intercooler, reallly dirty air filter, smashed exhaust/pluged muffler.
and you might get better help in second section

I second what he just said.

Did you by any chance run over or hit anything that could have smashed an exhaust-pipe together ??

Another possibility :

Did this happen all of a sudden, after leaving the truck un-attended for any time at all ??

It is highly possible that some jerk could have crammed something into your exhaust.

I have known of instances where old rags had been pushed way up into tail-pipes such that the vehicles owner near went crazy trying to trouble-shoot the problem.

I second the boots going to the innercooler, the most likely one to pop is right after the turbo. What is your boost guage runnning (if you have one)? Any more smoke than usual? Also did the pitch of the turbo change? Could give you a clue on if the turbo crapped out.

What have you done to the truck as far as mods? (fill in your sig so everyone knows what you have and can help easier) I have poped the boots of a couple of times but I'm running 45 psi at wot, but it can still happen to a stocker also (bad design). Have to look at them real close because sometimes when they come off they just pop the clamp off but stay on the tube and it looks like it's ok. Or the one's at the intercooler can rub and wear a hole in them which can also cause the problem.

Best thing to do is if its not visible right away like a boot, check the filter and follow all of the plumbing for you charged air system and your exhaust. One of those two would cause your problem.

Hope that what one of us says helps. Dave

If it's the 24 valve in your signature the problem could be a fouled IAT sensor.
Easy to check and clean, Might as well also check the MAP sensor right next to it while you're at it. instructions> http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/sensors/IAT/clean.htm
