Getting warm pulling trailer on hills

I have 97 3500 CTD Dually automatic tranny, and on my last trip pulling my trailer, on some of the hills the temp. gauge would get up to about 200. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks TC

It will go to 190 to 200. Does your fan clutch engage? Sounds like a jet, ready for takeoff, can't miss it, it's pretty loud!

take the rubber gasket off in the back of your engine compartment that seals behind the hood. lets more air flow and dont forget heat rises.
