fuel tank problems

i'm having problems with my fuel tank every time i go to put fuel in it, it blows it back out. its like its not releasing the gasses anywhere. its been doing this for a week now then today i looked at my fuel pressue gauge and it was reading 1-2 psi no leaks on the gauge plumming. i'm not sure if the gauge is correct though because i can still get heavy black smoke on acceleration. i think i might have possibly melted a line or something my exhaust came loose under the truck and may have done some damage but the weather has been real crappy and haven't had a chance to look.

Sounds like your fuel tank's vent line is clogged.

When are you having that pressure? The 12V trucks run a lot higher pressure than that running, I'd suspect your gauge is bad.
