Fuel Pump
Fuel Pump
I got this truck about a week ago. (95 slt 2500 4X4, 228,xxx) I really like it. When I bought it I checked it out pretty good. Engine was really clean and dry, drivetrain too. The only thing I did notice was the fuel pump was wet on the out side, you know oily and dirty. It runs great I just want to get it taken care of. Can anyone recommend a manual for me to use on this. Any performance mods I can do while I'm at it? Also wondered if you can get a remote start for a 95 and if anyone has installed one theirself? Thanks.

By the service manual here, it can't be beat and will pay for itself with just one repair

I have two cheap, like under $50 remotes installed, been working excellent for over five years.
The pain is installation, you will definately need the above manual to do it and will need at least 8-10 hours.
Biggest hassle is finding the wires you need wrapped in tight bundles then getting them out so you can tap in.
