fuel psi is it ok
Fuel pressure over 45psi can blow out internal injection pump seals or even crack your fuel filter wide open.
Sounds to me like something even worse is going on with the high pressures you're seeing- someone has blocked off the overflow valve entirely or a return line/hose is kinked.
With no return fuel flowing though the pump things can get very hot and dry and cause damage. The P pump isn't entirely oil cooled and lubed.
Either that or your gauge doesn't have a dampener on it and you're reading the high end of the pump spikes or the gauge itself has been destroyed by running without a dampener and isn't reading right.
