fuel plate/gov spring/gauges

My truck so far is all stock, except for a afe stock drop in replacement. I plan on installing the Autometer Phantom series gauges, pyro, tran temp. boost. I think I will order the tst power kit with the #6 plate, as from all I have read my trans should remain safe with this set up. What is the opinion of this set up from all of you?
I don't know if the afc spring kit is needed?, or recomended?
I also have read putting in a 3000rpm gov spring will allow more fuel at the higher rpm, but is it needed with the tst & #6 plate?
This will be about as far as my bombs will go, I think. I want to add a little more power Let me know what you think, Thanks, Ken

I'd call TST and ask them. That's how I found out mine wasn't the best setup.

Thats like saying.. "I'll only take one step down this steep, muddy, slippery slope in my shoes that have bald soles."
