fuel over flow valve
fuel over flow valve
can someone give me a link to find cummins parts. i need a fuel overflow valve for a 96 cummins injection pump. i called dodge today and they want $112.00 for it and that doesn't sound right
Rick, I wondered about those overflow valves when I ordered them because you can't take them apart and install more shims for more pressure but so for I like it, pressure is real good, they tap a little at idle but flow enough even with the aux fuel pump on.

Someone posted here that you can buy just the spring from a Bosch pump shop for $5. Since that's what usually wears out might be a good way to go as long as you have a two piece valve to put it in.
I read that post too and lost it, I would like to get a couple or three of them if the source is available and the price sure sounds right, what made me not think to much about that post was the price and why would a shop sell them {just the spring}, I am going to try to find that post. The ones Marty sells now are of the two piece design just like the original. He got a bad batch of the ones with the pressed in ball so he quit selling them. I had two that had failed on two seperate trucks.
