Fuel Lines
I am taking my transmission out next week and thought while the tranny was out I could replace some fuel lines. Are the fuel lines are steel? Any suggestions??

Replace them with high quality diesel rated hose all the way from the engine to the tank.
It really doesn't make much difference the tranny is there or not.

what about the cab and bed? im taking mine off soon, pretty much will just be a chassis with wheels and an engine, haha

The bed would make it a little easier to attach them to the tank. I had to drop my tank a couple inches to do mine but, I don't remember why.

Defintely a good time to pull your tank and check the sender, pickup etc.
