Front hub temp?
Front hub temp?
Hello All, I just finished converting my truck to a SRW and putting a leveling kit up front with 35" tires aroud. Now that I am not using any hub covers I noticed that both front hubs run very hot to the point where I can't keep my had on them. the rear axle is not hot at all. Is this normal or should I be ready for some new hubs?
Thanks
Thanks

Are your brakes the source of the heat?
Here's a simple test.

Your wheels should spin freely.
If not .
Your brakes /calipers are probably dragging.
This is a common problem with our trucks.
If they are dragging check the caliper bolts to make sure they are well lubed.
You may also need to replace the front rubber brake lines as well.
