I know this question/topic has been driven into the ground. I have a 97 2500 Ext. Cab 4x4. I have searched forums and found many answers about front end replacement parts. I copied some of the part numbers and none of them have matched when I go to look them up at auto part stores. I'm looking at replacing everything from tie rods, ball joints, etc. I think I've decided on moog parts. Can someone please help me out with part numbers and if I should go with moog. I know I've also seen luke's links but not thinking this is the best route for me. Also, where is the best place to buy moog from? I've also seen entire front end kits on e-bay, has anybody bought these? Thanks in advance for the input and help.

 

If you want to change over to the much better 99' HD t-bar style.. I can give you the MOOG part numbers to do that. If you want the factory 97' stuff. Can't help you there.

 

I've never kept nor needed the part numbers.
I just tell them the truck year, etc at my local Napa and they get me Moog parts.
