Front end binding while backing up??

Front end binding while backing up??
When I back the truck up in a straight line it feels like the front end is binding up.
You can hear noises and the truck doesn't move right. The truck is in 2wd when it does it. I haven't tried it in 4wd.
It is normal going forward.
Anyone had this happen?
