Freeze plug heater?
Freeze plug heater?
When I bought my truck in the spring the owner told me it did not have a block heater so had he kept the truck he would have installed one. The truck was from CA so I guess they didn't need it there - but here in MN it gets pretty cold! I read on here that every single cummins has one built in but the cord may need to be added. Can anyone confirm this as true? Where would I find the heater if there was one?
Passenger side of block , about half way between the pan & head , under exhaust manifold , towards the front .
A flash lite & mirror , it should have a cover over the end to protect the connections till the cord is installed , the plug & cord screw on & off , its knurled .

Where are you in MN ?
Check for the dyno day at High Tech , meet up with others .
I though it was the 20th , or 2 Saturdays from now , in Elk River .
I'll try to get the link .
