Fleetgaurd LF3894 on a 12v?
I have 2 leftover LF3894 oil filters from my 24valve. Can I use them on my 12valve?

TST lists part number LF3894 for 89-02 cummins. So I guess its ok?

What do you guys think?

The 3894 has a thicker shell to hold up to the higher oil pressure of the 24V on cold starts. Otherwise, it's interchangeable.

3894 is also a stratapore filter.....the best you can buy from Fleetguard.....I use 3894's on my 12v and 24v.

I use a rebadged fleetguard 3894 on my 12v...we buy them from AGCO (tractors). They cost me more than If I was to buy them at Cummins, but they're always in stock for $10.00.

I buy 3894 filters by the case, my brother also uses them for his 12v.

LF3894 is th only filter Cummins Intermountain has ever sold to me. For my 99 24v, and now my 97 12V.
