alright just got my first 12v today,98' 3500 5sp drw 2x4 , my dad has a 24v and i know more about it, so whats some things i need to know about this truck?

 

search for kdp or killer dowel pin. a must do.

 

did the previous owner mention anything about the 5th gear nut? and wetaher its come loose etc..., besides that 12 valves are pretty good, do the kdp fix, and go from there, pretty simple engine. thats why i like mine so much.

 

he did not say anything about 5th gear nut. i'm prety sure the kdp has been fixed but i will check so i know for sure!it has got a aftermarket fuel plate,not sure what size but it's nothing wild.
