My egt's get pretty hot quick too but I let off the go pedal and they come right back down. Sorry had to say it. No seriously I dont think the manifold will help any but a bigger turbo would. Did you upgrade your exhaust or air intake or filter? Fill out your sig so we can see what you got. Where is Whiteman AFB at, my wife is in the Air Force and we are stationed on Okinawa.

I dont know alot about different size turbos but i have heard alot of guys on here say that they see nothing with intake manifold or exhaust manifold upgades. Maybe somebody with turbo knowledge will chime in.

it depends on what cummins motor you have.. since khunter has a 12v a intake manifold and a exhaust manifold truly make a difference...

khunter...since i ran the intake manifold first (b4 i even changed turbos) i noticed better throttle response and a little bit more boost (2-3 psi) then i switched to a htt exhaust manifold and that improved throttle response again due to the the turbo spooling up a lot quicker. I think you should go get a bigger turbo as to which one the choice is up to you but id go with a 64 at least

bump your timing, get rid of those lazer cuts and get 191's and get rid of those junk 370's and go with a better injector. what kind of exhuast housing do you having you need 13cm or bigger

I agree with some of the Members here that the aftermarket manifolds are not going to help you alot. If you still have the stock HX-35/12 Turbo, I would recommend going to the larger HX-40/16. I ran one of those on my 96' a few years ago and it helped the EGT's alot. The Schwitzer 62/12 or 64/12 would also be a good choice. DTR Member crabbelle is giving you good advice on raising your timing too! That will also help. I also agree on replacing the 370's with a different injector, preferably an EDM 5-hole .12-13 thousandths.
I have a set from Scheid Diesel like that and they ran very, very well in my 96'
before I went way up in power. The 370's are a good cheap injector, but run hotter because of their spray pattern. They were designed to be run with a Cummins Marine Piston which is basically an "open bowl" design versus the stock piston that you have.
