I got a egt gauge on the directions it says to put it in the elbow off the turbo or the exhaust pipe by the elbow.<br>i was looking at tst website and it says to put it in the exhaust manifold just before the turbo.<br>which one do you guys use<br><br>thank<br>Brent

 

I am pre-turbo (exhaust manifold).

Most max EGT temps are for pre turbo ie:1350* max temp before melt down starts<br><br>I would recommend pre turbo....it gives a truer temp reading

Manifold. With the Isspro directions, easy to accomplish. Since I tow heavy, I wanted accurate readings.<br><br>Bill
