Egt
Egt
I have a 4-6000 pound pickup camper on the back of my truck and at WOT @60 MPH the EGT is right around 1200. Does this seem normal or is it high? Also lately i have seen black smoke after accelerating from a stop. Any ideas on the smoke would be great. Could it be something worn out in the turbo and if so what? Also on average how long does a stock turbo last? I have 288,000 miles on my truck. 1995 2500 Dodge Ram with Banks Stinger Plus
that temp seems high to me
im not sure how much a load of wood weighs but i have never got the temps that high
do you have a boost gauge?
i would check for a boost leak - because of the smoke

You say WOT...is this on a 7 percent grade, level ground, or what? At WOT on level ground, you should pass 60 mph very quickly and need to backoff.
If you are seeing a lot of smoke, it is likely something is wrong, even with 30psi boost. 1200 should only be seen pulling a hill at high altitudes.
Is your fuel plate in the Banks' specified location? Exhaust restrictions? Timing?
Good luck diagnosing.
