Because of hard times I was not able to keep up repairs. Now that its good times we dumped some money. 130,000 miles on a rebuilt 47-RH,leaking oil lines, once 5 quarts down, and a bum TPS that caused the torque converter to hunt for over 100,000 miles( does this break any records? Everything is fixed. She runs so well we're ready for 4 inch pipe and some injectors. Thanks everyone for all the info, it gave me that push. I just bought polyurethane control arm bushings, but they're not in yet. Opinions please.

You should fill out your signature so we can all have a better idea of the truck you speak of. I had my 91 down by 4 quarts but it still dont beat 5! Good luck with the mods, let us know how they turn out. The bushings will make a world of difference if your originals are worn badly. When you do the injectors you will want to invest in gauges so you can monitor everything closely, especially EGT's.
